Holder of a graduate degree in Money and Finance from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, an M.Sc. in Macroeconomics and Quantitative Analysis and a Ph.D. in Finance (with highest honours) from Paris Nanterre University, and a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from University of Paris VIII Vincennes Saint-Denis, I am a senior academic leader with recognized expertise in sustainable finance, energy economics, and climate transition.

I am the Founder and Director of the Center of Research for Energy and Climate Change (CRECC), an international and interdisciplinary research platform established in 2019 with the support of Paris School of Business. Under my leadership, CRECC has become a structuring research hub, supporting the development of high-impact scientific production, doctoral training, and international collaborations in climate finance and energy transition.

My academic career spans leading European and international institutions, including Paris School of Business, IPAG Business School, the University of Ottawa, and the University of Luxembourg. Across these institutions, I have contributed not only to teaching and research excellence, but also to the structuring of doctoral programmes, the supervision of early-career researchers, and the internationalisation of academic pathways.

As Head of the Economics, Energy and Policy Department at Paris School of Business (2019–2023), I led the strategic development of interdisciplinary research and played a central role in strengthening doctoral supervision frameworks, research governance, and faculty performance evaluation systems. I have actively contributed to the design and implementation of institutional strategies aligned with AACSB, EFMD, and EQUIS standards, particularly in relation to research quality, doctoral training, and assurance of learning.

As Founder and Director of CRECC, I have exercised full academic leadership over research and doctoral activities, including the supervision and mentoring of Ph.D. candidates, the structuring of research axes, the coordination of faculty and affiliated researchers, and the development of international joint supervision frameworks. I have also contributed to the evaluation, recruitment, and promotion of academic staff, reinforcing research excellence and institutional coherence.

Previously, at IPAG Business School, I served as Head of the Energy, Climate Change and Transition Chair, where I secured and led a Horizon 2020-funded project (MEDRESET), coordinating an international consortium and integrating doctoral and postdoctoral researchers into large-scale research and policy-oriented initiatives.

As an HDR-qualified supervisor, I have directed numerous Ph.D. dissertations to successful completion and currently supervise doctoral candidates within international and co-supervised programmes (including joint supervision with institutions such as Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and the University of Southampton). I have also supervised multiple DBA theses and played an active role in doctoral committees (jury de thèse) across several universities. My approach to doctoral supervision emphasizes methodological rigor, international publication, and integration into global academic networks.

Beyond academia, I operate at the intersection of research, finance, and policy. I currently serve as Project Manager at WinVeston Capital, where I lead strategic initiatives in green finance, ESG investment structuring, and sustainable financial innovation. I am also Director at OneHealthAI, contributing to interdisciplinary projects linking artificial intelligence, health, environment, and socio-economic systems.

Earlier in my career, I held positions at UNESCO and Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, developing strong expertise in international policy frameworks and financial risk management.

As a prolific scholar, I have published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and several academic books. I play a leading role in the global academic community as Senior Editor of Finance Research Letters and the International Journal of Emerging Markets, Associate Editor of Journal of Economic Surveys, Research in International Business and Finance, and Review of Middle East Economics and Finance, Editorial Board Member of Commodities, and Editor-in-Chief of the World Scientific book series “Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability and Climate Change” (2026).

My career reflects a strong capacity to design, structure, and lead research and doctoral ecosystems at an international level. I have contributed to building high-performing academic environments, strengthening doctoral training, and aligning research strategies with institutional excellence and societal impact. My ambition is to lead and further develop globally competitive doctoral schools and research institutions that combine academic rigor, strategic vision, and international influence
