Accreditations and labels

The programs and operations of IPAG Business School are recognized through several accreditations and labels awarded by French and international bodies, ensuring academic excellence, teaching quality, and the School’s impact.

As a holder of the international AACSB accreditation, IPAG belongs to the select group of the top 6% of business schools worldwide, recognized for meeting the highest standards in teaching, research, and engagement with students and corporate partners.

A non-profit organization under the French “association loi 1901” framework, IPAG is also accredited with the EESPIG label (Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général), which recognizes its commitment to serving the public interest in higher education and student success.

In France, there are 43 EESPIG institutions, including only 13 business schools.

International Accreditations

AACSB

IPAG Business School was awarded the prestigious international AACSB accreditation in July 2025, for the maximum duration of six years.

Founded in 1916, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is the oldest global accreditation body for business schools. To date, fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide hold this accreditation.

EFMD

European Foundation for Management Development is an international organization dedicated to the development of management education. It promotes best practices, pedagogical innovation, and academic excellence, and awards accreditations and labels recognized worldwide for business schools and management programs.

IPAG’s Programme Grande École is accredited by EFMD for the maximum duration of five years.

Official recognitions and institutional labels

CEFDG - VISAS & GRADES

Commission d’Évaluation des Formations et Diplômes de Gestion, operating under the authority of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, evaluates the quality of management programs delivered by business schools.

It grants the State recognition (visa) as well as the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree grades, which certify the academic level and quality of programs, as well as their alignment with national higher education standards.

IPAG’s Grande Ecole Programme, recognized by the State (visa - (Graduate Degree), confers the Master’s degree (Grade de Master).

IPAG’s Bachelor in Management, recognized by the State (visa - Undergraduate Degree), confers the Bachelor’s degree (Grade de Licence).

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is recognized by the State (visa - Undergraduate Degree).

RNCP

Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles lists degrees and qualifications recognized by the State that meet labor market needs. Registration in the RNCP guarantees the official recognition of the skills and knowledge acquired, according to a level of qualification aligned with the national and European frameworks.

BIENVENUE EN FRANCE LABEL

Awarded by Campus France, the “Bienvenue en France” label recognizes higher education institutions that implement high-quality measures for welcoming and supporting international students.

It highlights initiatives that facilitate integration, student life, and administrative procedures for students coming to study in France.

 

IPAG Business School was awarded the renewal of the “Bienvenue en France” label, Level 2, in December 2025, for a period of five years, following the national accreditation committee led by Campus France.

Quality labels and certifications

BSIS

The BSIS (Business School Impact System) label, developed by FNEGE in partnership with European Foundation for Management Development, assesses and measures the overall impact of a business school on its environment. It analyzes in particular its economic, social, educational, and regional contributions, as well as its influence on companies, students, and society.

In July 2025, IPAG renewed the BSIS label for its Paris campus and obtained its first accreditation for the Nice campus.

QUALIOPI

The Qualiopi certification certifies the quality of the processes implemented by training providers in the context of skills development.

Granted on the basis of a national quality framework, it ensures the rigor of teaching methods and the transparency of training practices.

 

CGE LABELS

Quality labels from the Conférence des grandes écoles are collective trademarks registered with the Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle. Owned by the Conférence des grandes écoles, they are exclusively awarded to programs offered by member institutions, following accreditation by the CGE.

  • IPAG Business School holds the 4DIGITAL label, which recognizes higher education institutions capable of implementing innovative and high-performing systems in support of digital learning and distance education, both in France and internationally.

  • The international MSc–Master of Science® label was created to meet the expectations of institutions welcoming international students wishing to complete their studies within a French Grande École. It distinguishes programs leading to an institution-specific degree at Master’s level (Bac+5).

The Digital Marketing & Data Analysis specialization of IPAG’s MSc holds the MSc–Master of Science® label.

CGE - Conférence des grandes écoles

IPAG Business School is a member of the Conférence des grandes écoles, an association that brings together French grandes écoles recognized for the excellence of their programs and their close ties with the business world.

 

UGEI

IPAG Business School is a member of the Union des Grandes Écoles Indépendantes, which brings together private higher education institutions recognized for the excellence of their programs.

This network aims to promote academic quality, pedagogical innovation, and the international influence of independent French grandes écoles.

CDEFM - Conférence des Directeurs des Écoles Françaises de Management

IPAG Business School is a member of the Conférence des Directeurs des Écoles Françaises de Management, which brings together the directors of French state-recognized management schools.

It contributes to strategic thinking on the evolution of higher education in management, promotes academic excellence, and represents schools before public institutions and economic stakeholders.

PRME - Principles for Responsible Management Education

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative aims to promote and advance, on a global scale, education, research, and practices in responsible management. Its mission is based on six principles, closely aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda.

IPAG’s Towards an Inclusive Company Chair is fully aligned with the School’s commitments under PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education).
IPAG’s PRME reports present its overall CSR and Impact strategy and include, in particular, a section dedicated to its Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policy.
