Professional experiences

Huong Giang is a dedicated academic professional with a foundation in finance and a fervent commitment to research and education. She obtained a PhD in finance with a research topic related to sustainable finance from Paris Saclay University. Currently, she holds positions as Assistant Professor in Finance, Research Operations Officer within the Direction of Research, Dissemination & Impact, including DBA Program Office at IPAG Business School.

During her professional journey at IPAG, she is on the organizing committee of several conferences, including the International Research Meeting in Business and Management (IRMBAM), the Rencontres Internationales de la Diversité (RID), the International Symposium on Environment and Energy Finance Issues (ISEFI), and the Paris Financial Management Conference (PFMC).

Huong Giang is also a lecturer at the School of Banking and Finance, National Economics University, where she was the Valedictorian of the university (Top 1) in 2007 and earned her master’s degree in 2010 with a Very Good degree.

She was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, including a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam for a PhD program, a scholarship from Sumitomo Mitsui Bank (SMBC) Japan, a SEAMEO Regional Language Center Scholarship from Singapore, a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hanoi City for Excellent Study Results, and a Certificate of Merit from National Economics University for students with good achievements in research activities.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Huong Giang holds roles within the academic and expert communities. She is Deputy Director of Executive Training Network at the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE Global), one of the organizers of the Vietnam Symposium in Banking and Finance (VSBF), and one of the organizers of the Vietnam Global Leaders Forum (VGFL), both organized by AVSE Global.

She aspires to seize opportunities for enhancing her expertise in economics and finance to become an inspiring lecturer and an independent researcher.
