International
Our international strategy
For several decades, IPAG Business School has been developing a strong international dimension, true to its mission of supporting future leaders in a globalised environment. The school was involved in international academic cooperation from a very early stage, and has built up a solid network of partners and recognised expertise in student mobility and academic collaboration.
Today, our strategy is to consolidate and expand this momentum, with a network of 140 partner institutions in 42 countries on 6 continents, 68% of which hold recognised international accreditation. This network offers our community a wide variety of opportunities in terms of mobility, double degrees and research.
On-site internationalisation is also a key focus, with the integration of collaborative modules such as COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) projects, international weeks and a multicultural campus life supported by an active international student and faculty community.

- With a view to continuous improvement, a number of projects are currently being developed to strengthen this dynamic:
- International masterclasses run by teachers and experts from partner institutions,
- An international college dedicated to providing academic, linguistic and methodological support for international students.
- Enhanced virtual multicultural exchanges to complement physical exchanges.
At the same time, the school is deploying targeted recruitment strategies on foreign markets (B2C and B2B), and supporting the mobility of its teachers, researchers, staff and alumni through long-term institutional partnerships.
Aligned with its educational mission, this strategy enables the school to train agile profiles, capable of evolving in multicultural contexts. It is embodied in an enriched academic offering, an inclusive campus life and global opportunities for professional experience.
Finally, IPAG is fully committed to an international research dynamic, ensuring visibility and impact in the academic and socio-economic ecosystems on a global scale.

Studying abroad during your course at IPAG: Opening up to the world
IPAG Business School's mission is to prepare managers for a rapidly changing globalised world and to produce high-quality research with national and international visibility.
IPAG Business School offers its students international exposure through regular and repeated exposure to different academic and cultural contexts, both on its campuses and in one of its many partner universities around the world.
Every year, several hundred students opt for openness and excellence, as part of a university exchange, a dual degree or a specific international programme (summer programme, voluntary work, internship in an international company, etc.).
Why go on an academic mobility scheme?
Studying abroad is much more than just a university stay. It's a unique opportunity to :
Strengthen your intercultural skills, which are increasingly sought after by employers worldwide;
Develop your independence, adaptability and intellectual curiosity;
Improve your command of foreign languages through total immersion;
Build an international network of personal and professional contacts;
Enhance your profile on the job market, particularly in international career paths;

Dual degrees: a springboard for international careers
IPAG Business School offers several dual degree programmes with prestigious institutions in Europe, Asia, America and Oceania. These programmes allow you to obtain 2 Master's level diplomas at the end of your course: IPAG Business School's Grande Ecole Programme and that of a partner university. This is real added value for your career, like a passport to an international career, a precious asset in a globalised world.
How do you choose your partner university?
The choice of university is based on a number of criteria:
Local language of instruction, academic programme on offer, international reputation of the institution, accommodation options, student life in the host country, professional and personal objectives.
Our teams will help you make your choice, organising information meetings throughout the year, presentations by partner universities, individual coaching sessions and online resources available to all students.
Preparing for a successful expatriation
Preparing to go abroad can seem daunting, but at IPAG you're in safe hands. From enrolment in a partner university, to visas, accommodation, funding, language tests and writing your CV in English, our team will be with you every step of the way to ensure that your expatriation goes off without a hitch. What's more, you'll receive a mobility grant for your international studies and work placements. (Erasmus)

Jérémy CHETRIT

Thea FALL testimonial
‘My third year at IPAG Business School opened the door to a remarkable opportunity: a six-month adventure on the other side of the world, in Newcastle, Australia.
From my arrival in February until my departure in July, I had the privilege of fully immersing myself in the academic and cultural landscape of Newcastle University. It was more than just a study experience: it was an adventure in personal development, learning and discovery (...).
As an exchange student, I had the chance to adopt a new teaching style, discover a rich local culture and fully integrate into the dynamic student life of Newcastle, while making friends for life. It was an experience that went far beyond the classroom (...).
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned from my time at this renowned institution is the importance of diversity as a lever for success. Exchanges with students from all over the world, with different backgrounds and visions, broadened my horizons and enriched my learning experience. During my exchange, I had the chance to take part in a number of practical projects in areas as varied as advertising and marketing, project management, branding and international trade risks. These practical experiences enabled me to deepen my knowledge while developing skills that I can apply to my future career.
FAQ
At IPAG Business School, all students go abroad in the 3rd year of the PGE and in the second year of the Bachelor. We also offer experiences at all levels of study to enable students to discover the international world and develop their skills.
Not necessarily: many partner universities offer courses in English.
Yes, depending on the destination, our students can benefit from a number of schemes with or without social criteria and are assisted with all the administrative procedures (CROUS, Erasmus+, regional council grants, school grants, etc.).
When you go on an academic exchange under a bilateral agreement signed between your school and a partner university, you are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host establishment. You continue to pay your tuition fees to your home school. However, some partner universities may apply additional fees (e.g. student card, local insurance costs, administrative costs), which will be indicated to you before your departure.
The academic exchange is integrated into your degree course, and you remain registered with IPAG during your stay abroad. Tuition fees due to the school therefore remain payable. IPAG also maintains an active relationship with its internationally mobile students. Follow-up meetings are organised remotely throughout the semester to support students during their experience abroad. These meetings provide an opportunity to review academic progress and ensure that the mobility experience takes place under the best possible conditions.
You will need to select courses that are aligned with your programme in France, in line with the teaching objectives for your semester. A learning agreement is validated before your departure, in collaboration with the academic coordinator, to ensure that your credits are recognised on your return.
Yes, the credits obtained at the partner university (generally in ECTS for Europe) are recognised in your course at IPAG, subject to validation by the academic jury. Grade equivalence is calculated according to the conversion grid in force and the school applies the credit transfer.
This depends on the host country and your nationality. If you are studying outside the European Union, a student visa is generally required. The International Relations Department will provide you with the necessary documents for your application and you will be responsible for all the administrative formalities.

International students: How to join IPAG
Every year, we welcome around 400 international students to our campuses for degree or diploma courses, and we do everything we can to make it easier for them to study at our school and settle in France. IPAG is an institution that believes that a multicultural environment is the ideal framework for training managers for a rapidly changing world. As a result, 90 nationalities are represented on our campuses and 40% of our students are international. Finally, we work with more than 20 professional representatives selected by us, offering a range of services to students wishing to study in France. Because self-fulfilment and taking care of yourself is a guarantee of success, the school's health committee organises events throughout the year on student health and well-being: Health Week, blood donation, prevention, hearing and vision screening, free osteopathy consultations, psychological support, first aid training, yoga classes, mental preparation for exams, nutrition and dietetics workshops, etc.
