Terms and conditions:

Financial aid from the school is awarded at the end of the academic year; it is personal and non-transferable. These schemes cannot be combined:

Students are eligible only for the most advantageous grant. The grant will be paid directly to students in their final year; otherwise, it will be applied as a deduction against tuition fees for the following academic year. The decisions of the Grants Committee are final and non-appealable. IPAG Business School reserves the right to amend this policy at any time and without notice.

There are many options available to help you finance your studies.

IPAG BUSINESS SCHOOL SOCIAL SCHOLARSHIP VS MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

Programmes eligible: all programmes except the DBA. Any student who has already completed one year at the school
Award criteria: financial need, conduct, academic performance.
Amount: depends on the student’s financial circumstances, according to a scale determined annually by IPAG Business School.

THE ‘FAMILY’ SCHEME AT IPAG BUSINESS SCHOOL

Eligibility: Any student who has a brother or sister also enrolled at IPAG Business School.
Award criteria: The number of family members currently studying at IPAG Business School.
Amount: A 25% reduction on the lower of the two tuition fees. The amount is paid in the form of a grant.

Excellence Scholarship

Target audience: First-year students who have achieved a ‘Très Bien’ grade in the French state baccalaureate or a ‘Bien’ grade in the French state baccalaureate, in the case of students receiving a CROUS higher education grant (as the BBA does not qualify students for a CROUS grant).

Award criteria: Grades from a French state baccalaureate and/or a CROUS grant
Amount: 50% reduction on first-year tuition fees. The amount is paid as a grant

Eligibility criteria: Child of a graduate of IPAG Paris, Thionville or Nice.
Amount: 10% reduction on first-year tuition fees.

Eligibility: Students on all programmes except the DBA, across all campuses.
Eligibility criteria: Children of IPAG staff members, teaching or administrative, on permanent contracts.
Amount: 30% reduction on first-year tuition fees.

‘Student Loyalty’ plan

Target audience: Students who have obtained their first degree from IPAG BS and are continuing their studies on another programme within the institution.

‘Elite Athlete’ provision

Target audience: Students who are elite athletes or who compete at national or international level.
 

Eligibility criteria: 
Participation in national or international competitions
Ability to balance academic and sporting commitments
Satisfactory academic results

Required documents:

Proof of participation in competitions 
Transcripts from the last academic year 
Letter of recommendation from a sporting authority

Amount: Financial support to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
 

Conditions: Application assessed on the basis of the student’s academic record, project and circumstances.

AID FOR INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY

ERASMUS+ Grant

Eligibility: Any IPAG student enrolled on the PGE/BCH programme who is undertaking a semester of study at a partner university or an internship in a European country.
 

Award criteria: Based on the cost of living in the destination country, and the duration and type of your mobility project: study or internship. Study grants are means-tested;
internship grants are limited to a maximum of €25,000 and are awarded subject to available funding and the number of applications. Grants may be
awarded on a partial basis depending on the number of applicants. These grants cannot be combined with other overseas mobility grant schemes.

Regional Grant PRAME

The PRAME Grant is a scheme run by the Région Sud to support international mobility.

Eligibility:
The following are eligible: students enrolled on a full-time or work-study programme at a higher education institution located within the region and which is a PRAME partner of the Région Sud.

The following are excluded: recipients of the ERASMUS programme or any other form of international mobility support.
 

Award criteria: see The PRAME Grant is a scheme run by the Sud Region to support international mobility.
 

Amount: Grant of €125 per full week of 7 consecutive days; capped at €2,500 per academic year per beneficiary. Additional support per placement may
be awarded: a lump sum of €200 for students required to pay visa fees / a lump sum of €400 for students with disabilities.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Excellence-Major Scholarship


Target audience: The Excellence-Major scholarship programme is an initiative set up by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the AEFE, and managed by
Campus France, to enable the most talented international students from French secondary schools abroad to pursue higher education in France.


It aims to support high-achieving students in pursuing degree programmes at bachelor’s or master’s level, or preparatory classes, and to train future international executives and decision-makers who will go on to hold positions of responsibility in the public and private sectors.

Cordial Agreement Scholarship

Target audience: The Entente Cordiale scholarship programme is a scheme for academic excellence funded by the French Embassy in the United Kingdom, designed to support the mobility of British postgraduate students wishing to pursue their studies in France.


Established in 1995 on the initiative of President Jacques Chirac and Prime Minister John Major, it contributes to strengthening Franco-British academic cooperation.
 

Successful applicants benefit from an academic and cultural experience in France and join the network of former Entente Cordiale scholarship holders, fostering opportunities for
professional development.

The France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship to attract the best international students

Target audience: The Eiffel Scholarship Programme is an initiative developed by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract the best international students to master’s and doctoral degree programmes.

It aims to train future foreign decision-makers from the private and public sectors in priority fields of study, and to encourage applications from foreign students aged 29 or under for Master’s programmes and 35 or under for PhD programmes.

Public funding

State Scholarship (CROUS)

Eligibility: Any student under the age of 28 enrolled in the first year of the Grande Ecole Programme (PGE) or the Bachelor in Management (BiM).


Award criteria: Means-tested
 

Amount: Depends on the student’s financial circumstances, based on a scale set annually
by the Ministry.

The National Education System’s Merit-Based Grant

Target group: Scholarship students who have achieved a ‘Very Good’ grade in their A-levels.
 

Award criteria: Social and academic criteria.
Amount: Amount set by interministerial decree.

The annual special allowance

Eligibility: Students under the age of 35 who meet the same criteria regarding qualifications, academic background and nationality as those for the State Grant but do not receive it, and who are experiencing long-term financial difficulties.
 

The specific annual grant may be combined with international mobility support, one-off specific support and merit-based support.
 

Award criteria: Social criteria and attendance.
Amount: The amount of the grant corresponds to one of the bands 0a to 7 of the means-tested grant, i.e. between €1,454 and €6,335 per year

Monaco Scholarship

Target audience: The Monegasque Scholarship is a scheme run by the Department of National Education, Youth and Sport of the Monegasque Prince’s Government. Applicants must demonstrate either Monegasque nationality, a family connection to a national of the Principality, or continuous residence in the Principality for at least ten years.

Local and county grants, and works councils

Local authorities and county councils may provide financial assistance to help cover the cost of studies. Some works councils and mutual insurance schemes also offer
study grants. To find out if you are eligible, we recommend contacting your local council and county council, as well as the works council or mutual insurance scheme of the student’s parents.

SUPPORTED HOUSING

The Jacques Lambert Scholarship: promoting equal opportunities in higher education Unfold all Fold all

Target audience: Under the auspices of the Fondation de France, this foundation awards scholarships
to business school students aged 18 to 22 who are French nationals
and enrolled in the third year of the Grande École Programme.
 

Award criteria: Social and academic criteria.

Target audience: The foundation offers merit-based scholarships and personal support (mentoring) to students who have achieved a ‘Good’ or ‘Very Good’ grade in their A-levels and who face financial difficulties in pursuing higher education and achieving an ambitious career goal.

Target audience: The foundation awards grants to French or Swiss students who, as a result of an accident, disability or illness, face financial difficulties in starting or continuing higher education in France or abroad. Vocation Foundation – Marcel Bleustein Blanchet Unfold all Fold all

Target audience: The Foundation offers grants in the form of a Vocation Award and a Hope Award to anyone aged between 18 and 30, of any nationality, who has demonstrated a vocation through initial achievements and is facing financial difficulties in continuing their journey.
 

Amount: €15,000 for the Vocation Award / €10,000 for the Hope Award.

Work-study scheme for a Category B driving licence (state-funded)

The tuition fees for work-study students are paid by the host company. There are two types of work-study contract:

  • a professionalisation contract, accompanied by a remuneration of 80% of the SMIC (taxable).
  • an apprenticeship contract, with remuneration of 43 or 78% of the SMIC (non-taxable).

Our programs accessible in work-study:

Apprentices who have reached the age of majority may be eligible for state aid to finance their B driving licence. An amount of €500 will be paid by the state if the following conditions are met:

  • They are at least 18 years old
  • They have a current apprenticeship contract;
  • Be engaged in a course to obtain a B driving licence.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Early Bird 

Eligibility: All new students not on a university pathway, whether French or international, who enrol by the specified deadline, i.e. 15 April inclusive for the autumn intake and 15 November inclusive for the spring intake.
 

Amount: 10% discount on the annual tuition fees for the current academic year.

Cash payment 

Paying the tuition fees in a single instalment entitles you to a €400 reduction in tuition fees.

Payment plan

Regardless of the programme you are enrolled in, you can pay your tuition fees in instalments or even arrange a bespoke payment plan.

THE GOVERNMENT-GUARANTEED STUDENT LOAN

A student loan is a consumer loan designed to fund your studies. It is guaranteed by the government and allows you to obtain funding without means testing and without the need for a guarantor. It is available to all students, whether or not they receive a grant.

Bank loans

Some banks offer IPAG students student loans at preferential rates.

State-guaranteed loan

A student loan is a consumer credit granted to finance your studies.

It is guaranteed by the French government, and allows you to obtain a loan to finance your studies without a means test or guarantee from a relative. It is open to all students, whether or not they receive a grant.
