Mounira El Bouti, a management teacher at IPAG and doctoral student associated with the Inclusive Enterprise Chair, has just won first prize from the Jury of the 2022 edition of “Ma Thèse en 180 secondes” promoted by the Université Paris-Lumière.
In this international competition for the popularisation of science, French-speaking doctoral students from all over the world must present their research topic – in less than three minutes – to a lay audience.
Researcher, doctoral student, teacher, but also journalist, Mounira El Bouti was able to explain, with a lot of humour and pedagogy, her thesis on the influence of digital transformation on the inclusion of women. She chose to illustrate her point by using an example that is more than ever topical: teleworking.
With this competition, Mounira El Bouti proved that it is possible to be a successful journalist and researcher, a mother and a PhD student, an expert on a complex subject and a teacher. After a dissertation on female leadership, her thesis - co-directed by Prof. Maria Giuseppina Bruna (director of the IPAG Inclusive Enterprise Chair) and Prof. Faouzi Bensebaa (University of Nanterre) - is a logical continuation of her research.
This victory makes IPAG proud and brings essential visibility to the research work carried out by its faculty. As Mounira El Bouti likes to say: "research is worth nothing without sharing and dissemination".
