Are you about to graduate from your Bachelor in Management program, or are you thinking about where you'd like to go next? This Baccalaureate+3 course has enabled you to acquire solid skills in management, marketing and administration. Thanks to its many projects and internships, you now have valuable professional experience. But the question remains: what to do after a Bachelor's degree in management? Continue your studies towards a Bac+5 or enter the job market? Let's take a look at the different career-building options available to you.
Once you've completed your Bachelor's degree in management, there are two main career paths open to you. You can either continue your academic career towards a 5-year degree, or go straight into the workforce.
Continuing your studies allows you to deepen your knowledge and specialize in a specific area of management, such as finance, digital marketing or international trade. This option is particularly recommended if you're aiming for positions of responsibility.
Entering professional life is also a viable option, thanks to the professionalizing dimension of your training. The internships and work-study programs you complete during your studies have enabled you to develop the practical skills that companies are looking for. This means you can apply for middle management positions, with the possibility of rapidly progressing to management functions.
A Bachelor's degree in management opens the door to a wide range of professions in a variety of sectors. The versatility of this training enables graduates to access different types of positions:
Junior project manager, where you'll coordinate teams and monitor the progress of company projects;
Marketing or communications manager, to develop a brand's digital and traditional strategy;
Sales manager, to manage a sales team and meet targets;
Account manager, to maintain and develop customer relations;
Human Resources Assistant, where you'll be involved in recruitment and personnel management.
These positions are available in a variety of sectors, including retail, services, industry and start-ups. Your training has also prepared you to work in an international context, which further expands your possibilities.

If you want to continue your academic career, there are several options open to you:
The Grande École Programme (PGE), which leads to a Master's degree in two years;
Masters of Science (MSc), specialized one-year courses recognized by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles;
MBAs (Master of Business Administration), particularly valued for their international and professional dimensions;
University masters, which offer a more academic approach to management.
There are several advantages to obtaining a Baccalaureate+5 diploma: it enables you to move more quickly into positions of responsibility and earn higher salaries. You'll also benefit from the international dimension of your career, thanks in particular to exchange programs and international double degrees. To make your choice, consider your career aspirations, the specializations on offer and the teaching methods. Some schools, such as IPAG Business School, make it easier for graduates of their Bachelor of Management programs to enter their programs.
