The family business La Maison du Citron, run by Adrien Gannac (Promo 2015) and his father Laurent, received the general public prize in the "Graine d'Agriculteurs" competition. Organised by the professional association of Young Farmers since 2011, this competition rewards the entrepreneurial fibre, sustainable approach and inventiveness of our French farmers.
Freshly graduated from the IPAG Grande Ecole Programme, Adrien Gannac decided to get involved in the company founded by his father, a producer of IGP lemons in Menton, about thirty kilometres from Nice. From 2016, he will be involved in obtaining the AB organic label, creating a commercial site and a YouTube channel, organising guided tours of the nursery, and more generally promoting the Maison du Citron on a national and international scale.
With this award, presented in Paris by the Minister of Agriculture Julien Denormandie, La Maison du Citron is further increasing its visibility. Next objectives for our alumni: to triple their production in a few years to meet the growing market demand and develop their product range.
