Restrictions on movement, combined with the economic and social pressures caused by the COVID-19 have led to an alarming rise in domestic and intra-family violence. The Ministry of the Interior refers to a 30% increase in such violence during the first confinement, associations say they are overwhelmed and the United Nations has called on all governments around the world to mobilise against this scourge.
Aware of the urgency of the situation, Jacques Djoman, a Master 2 student at IPAG, accompanied by teams from the school's Entrepreneurship Center, the MARIPAG student association and CEFAIRE, is currently developing a free application to prevent and help victims of domestic violence.
Named SACHA, this discreet and secure mobile application will include several functionalities, in particular it will allow :
