    Full Professor of Marketing

The Department of Marketing and Communication, chaired by Professor Imen Safraou, has 20 permanent faculties both in Paris and in Nice, many with prior professional experience in companies and/or consulting.

It also hosts a significant number of adjunct professors and affiliate research fellows as well as visiting scholars and professionals coming from all over the world. The quality of our faculty relies particularly on its internationalisation, diversity of expertise and implication.

Following the mission of IPAG Business School, our faculty members are committed to disseminate and produce high-level and innovative contributions mainly around two main themes:

  • Brand strategies: give the best insights to companies in order to meet the many challenges they face, such as the development of digital (brand-consumer interactions social media, digital communication of brands, etc.) or the challenge of sustainable development (credibility of brand commitment in a CSR approach, labeling practice, etc.),
  • Consumer behavior: several of the team’s work examines decision-making processes and consumer behavior and includes issues related to the use of new technologies and the influence of the cultural dimension. These different works shed light on the optimal decisions to make for companies and policymakers.

Research papers of the department members have been published in internationally reputed journals such as Journal of Retailing, Journal of the academy of marketing science, Journal of Business Research International Journal of Bank Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Journal of Historical Research in Marketing, , British Journal of Psychology, Management International, Decisions Marketing, Management et Avenir, Gérer et Comprendre, European Business Review, Business Strategy and the Environment.

Conferences & seminars

Along with bimonthly meetings and seminars to foster a strong research dynamic, the department is also involved in the organisation of the IRMBAM symposium, hold each year in the Nice Campus.
