IPAG Business School strengthens its presence in China with the opening of a representative office.

15 Jun 2026

As part of its international development strategy, IPAG Business School has reached a new milestone with the official opening of its representative office in China. This new establishment reflects the School’s ambition to strengthen its long-term presence in one of the world’s most dynamic higher education markets and to develop new opportunities for academic and professional cooperation.

A strategic hub at the heart of IPAG’s international development

The representative office will support IPAG’s growth in China, coordinate relationships with local partners, and ensure that projects carried out in the country remain aligned with the School’s international strategy. It will serve as the primary point of contact for students, universities, and companies wishing to collaborate with IPAG.

This new structure will help enhance the School’s visibility in China, facilitate the development of partnerships, and support initiatives that promote mobility, educational innovation, and international openness.

Liping Zhang appointed as IPAG’s official representative in China

The office will be led by Liping Zhang, a respected professional with extensive expertise in fostering cooperation between China and France. With more than forty years of experience in education, institutional partnerships, and international economic relations, she will support the deployment of IPAG’s activities in China and contribute to the development of new academic and professional collaborations.

Initial cooperation opportunities already underway

The opening of the representative office is already accompanied by concrete developments on the ground. Over the past few weeks, meetings have been held in several major Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Foshan.

These discussions with universities and companies have identified new opportunities for cooperation in student education, entrepreneurial support, and the development of international programmes. They reflect a shared commitment to strengthening academic and professional bridges between France and China while fostering innovation, internationalisation, and talent development.

A Shared Ambition for Students and Businesses

The representative office will serve three key audiences: Chinese students interested in joining IPAG’s programmes, higher education institutions seeking to develop new academic partnerships, and companies looking for training solutions tailored to their specific needs and challenges.

Through this new presence in China, IPAG Business School reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its international network and creating new opportunities for collaboration that benefit its students, academic partners, and the wider business community.
