IPAG Business School has had its status as a Private Higher Education Institution of Public Interest (EESPIG) renewed for a period of three years. This official recognition, granted by the French government, confirms the school's long-standing commitment to providing non-profit, independent higher education that serves the public interest.
Created by the Law of 22 July 2013 on higher education and research, the EESPIG qualification distinguishes private non-profit institutions that contribute to the public service missions of higher education. It is awarded by order of the Minister responsible for Higher Education, after consultation with the relevant advisory committee.
Only institutions run by associations, foundations recognised as being of public utility or professional unions are eligible for this qualification, provided they meet stringent criteria.
In France, there are 43 EESPIG establishments, including only 13 management schools.
As part of this qualification, IPAG presents its training programmes, geographical locations and the actions it has implemented to contribute to the missions defined by the Education Code to the State:
The EESPIG qualification gives rise to the signing of a multi-year contract between the State and the institution, defining strategic objectives aligned with national priorities for higher education and research.
Renewal of the qualification is also based on strict criteria of non-profit status, disinterested management and independent governance. These commitments are set out in a detailed dossier submitted to the Ministry, including a declaration of sincerity signed by the institution's management.
Finally, EESPIG recognition is based on a periodic evaluation by a national body, covering the institution's training and research activities and its overall organisation.
This renewal confirms IPAG Business School's position as a responsible player in higher education, committed to the values of public service, academic quality and student support.
