CSR

Our ambition

Our ambition is to make all of our learners aware of their responsibilities as citizens and future professionals.

This is to testify to the centrality of business ethics, CSR, sustainable development and the energy transition in the matrices of strategic management of companies and to contribute, in doing so, to organisational forecasting.

A committed and humanist concept of management

IPAG Business School places ethics, equality and responsibility at the heart of its values. Recipient of the EESPIG label, the School intends to contribute to the general interest while participating in operational efficiency, socio-economic innovation, environmental acceptability and optimisation of the societal footprint of businesses.

IPAG Business School places ethics, equality and responsibility at the heart of its values. Recipient of the EESPIG label, the School intends to contribute to the general interest while participating in operational efficiency, socio-economic innovation, environmental acceptability and optimisation of the societal footprint of businesses. It promotes agile, inclusive and reticular leadership capable of combining the viability of business models, environmental sustainability and social inclusiveness of organisations.

This is why all of our activities (from our lessons to our research policy, including our own internal programs) encourage corporate social responsibility. We value meaningful projects, mobilising for teams and sources of sustainable benefits for companies as much as for our society. The school is developing an incubator which contributes to the birth of start-ups with high innovation and growth potential: most of the incubated companies seek to faced the challenges of post-modern society in an original way, on the technical, economic, social as well as environmental levels.

Our educational programs promote awareness. They stimulate the ethical sensitivity of students, invigorate their critical spirit and develop their sense of reality.

The School's Research Chairs play a decisive role in this objective accountability (Inclusive Business Chair, Environment Chair, Climate Change and Energy Transition, Quantitative Finance and Risk Management Chair, French Know-How Chair, Disadvantaged Entrepreneurship Chair). These are geared towards social issues and are driven by a sense of general interest. Acting as a network and based on a partnership approach, they benefit from the support of large companies and European Programs. Placing the challenges of sustainable development, energy transition and CSR at the heart of its educational project, the IPAG Business School is developing an innovative educational approach, which is supported and nourished by a high-level research policy.

Thanks to the School's approach to scientific excellence, supported by the IPAG LAB, IPAG was listed in the prestigious Shanghai classification as the 3rd best French Business School in economics and finance, among other world-renowned laboratories. Furthermore, the School organises international conferences (ISEFI, IRMBAM, PFMC) each year, attracting several hundred researchers from the most prestigious universities and international institutions. The researchers of the School publish each year more than 80 articles in the best international journals and present more than 150 academic and professional communications, thus contributing to the development of knowledge, the optimisation of business practices and the general interest.

Three commitments

The ISEFI Forum

The ISEFI Forum (International Symposium on Environment & Energy Finance Issues) is a unique meeting and exchange platform between specialised companies and experts in the energy transition, environmental issues, the circular economy and urban mobility. The Forum is the counterpart of the eponymous International Symposium which celebrates its 8th edition in 2020 and which constitutes one of the main international congresses around the economics of raw materials, environmental energy as well as financial issues of the energy transition. ISEFI 2020 puts disruptive technologies, products and services promoting climate mitigation and environmental protection at the heart of the reflection. The Forum is also looking at innovative sources of funding for the energy transition and sustainable development.

The IPAG partnership – "Chemins d’avenir"

IPAG is committed, humanly and financially, alongside the Chemins d´avenirs association to promote access to higher studies in management science and management for young people in peripheral France or residing in small towns. Entrants admitted to IPAG, who are members of the association, will benefit from a significant discount on their tuition fees. 20 of them will be sponsored for 18 months by IPAG graduates and collaborators.

The IPAG Chair "Inclusive business"

the IPAG Chair "Inclusive business" is an interdisciplinary, international and partnership-based platform for action research, experimentation, scientific consulting and dissemination, centred on the prospective of professions, organisations and management, as well as on the links between agility, efficiency, inclusion and innovation.

Recognised by the public authorities (Ministries of Labor, Regional Cohesion, Higher Education and Research, OECD, etc.), the Chair plays a key role in setting up and running research programs and training (diploma and certification) around the societal commitment of companies and inclusive management.

It develops and tests out innovative methods related to the creation of animation and empowerment of diversity-inclusion networks, as well as the detection and management of talent. It designs assistance techniques for steering, coaching and societal auditing of companies (impact studies, societal acceptability assessment, social and environmental efficiency measures) for around twenty large organisations.
