On 6 May 2025, IPAG Business School and the Union Nationale des Acteurs de la Formation et de la Recherche en Intervention Sociale (UNAFORIS) signed a partnership agreement as part of the Modal'IS project.
The aim of the agreement is to co-develop an innovative Serious Game designed to train social work trainers, both in initial and continuing training. The partnership is based on the complementary expertise of the two institutions.
UNAFORIS, which brings together the majority of social work training establishments (EFTS) in France within a single national network, is behind the Modal'IS project. Launched in response to the DEFFINUM call for projects issued by the Haut-Commissariat aux Compétences and the Ministère du Travail , this vast programme aims to develop innovative teaching resources to enhance the skills of social sector trainers, through the creation of a Serious Game .
For its part, IPAG Business School will bring to the project its expertise in educational engineering and digital learning. Drawing on the experience of its Centre d'Apprentissage Digital et Expérientiel, headed by Thomas Hervouet-Kasmi and renowned for its award-winning Serious Games, IPAG will actively contribute to the construction of the Modal'IS Serious Game, illustrating its concrete commitment to educational innovation.
By joining forces, IPAG Business School and UNAFORIS aim to create a large-scale training tool. Ultimately, this Serious Game will be used to train generations of social work trainers. This exemplary collaboration illustrates the shared desire of the two partners to strengthen skills in the social field and to innovate in terms of teaching in the service of the common good.
