In French higher education, IPAG has now become one of the reference schools in terms of student follow-up for distance learning. This monitoring is carried out using Big Data.
At the start of the 2020 academic year, a few months before the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis and the first lockdown, IPAG had already deployed an analysis tool to monitor the progress of its students. This tool proposed by Intelliboard, the world leader in learning analytics, provides detailed statistics (by programme, campus, class, course module, etc.) on student attendance and level in real time, in particular to identify potential dropouts and provide individual support. For teachers, the tool gives them the possibility of adapting their lessons, by analysing, for example, the right and wrong answers to their MCQs in order to go more quickly over certain points in the programme or, on the contrary, to take more time to explain certain concepts.
Delighted with the partnership established with IPAG, the company Intelliboard wished to show our school as an example, in the same way as IBM, SAS and Sharp Electronics, by inviting Thomas Hervouet-Kasmi, head of the Digital Learning Center of IPAG, to speak during a webinar that you will find by clicking here.
