IPAG supports its students

18 Mar 2021

As lockdowns, reconfigurations and curfews against a backdrop of crisis affect the morale of many students, IPAG is more than ever at their side.

After the financial aid granted at the beginning of the year to students in difficulty thanks to the "Covid" grant, new measures have been taken to support students in psychological distress.

  • To this end, a counselling service, staffed by members of the administration, has been set up. This allows students to be listened to and supported in resolving their problems linked to the context, but also to be directed, if necessary, to professionals.
  • A partnership with the Rend Fort collective, a specialist in psycho-physiological recovery and mental preparation in crisis situations, was signed so that each student who wishes to do so can consult, free of charge, at a distance or not, a professional practitioner capable of providing them with appropriate psychological support.
  • Also in partnership with Rend Fort and to develop the resilience of students in the longer term, a 6-session support programme entitled TOP ("Techniques d'Optimisation du Potentiel"), initially developed for the world of military operations, will be launched in the coming days.
  • Group sessions of initiation to mindfulness meditation are also proposed and student associations are mobilised (organisation of running outings, hiking, etc.).
  • Finally, some twenty Parisian families have volunteered to host students at their table, a way of providing them with material assistance and comfort. Known as a big family, the IPAG is true to its reputation.

In these difficult times for everyone, but especially for students, we strive to be a solid reference point in their often uncertain daily lives.
