What are the objectives of the Masters in Finance & Markets?
This 5th year specialisation in the Grande École Programme, proposed only on the Paris campus, trains professionals with a comprehensive vision of market finance and activities related to securities issues, operations and transactions, and the assessment of financial risks. At the end of your course, you will be able to identify investment opportunities, carry out transactions, advise on, develop and implement a financial strategy, and identify and manage risks of all kinds. All courses in this specialization are taught in English.

You will follow teaching modules common to all of the 10 specialisations in Year 5 of our Grande Ecole Programme, to equip you with the profile of an innovative, responsible manager who is mindful of the ethical issues involved in all decision-making. The themes covered in the core curriculum include :

This specialism will enable you to take all classes in English, which is the language used in finance around the world. This will provide ideal conditions for you to prepare for work in an international environment following graduation.

For all students in the fifth year of the Grande École Programme, there is a compulsory six-month final internship. For those who wish to gain more work experience, you can take this course on a work-study basis by spending Three weeks in a company and one week in class, following the signing of a "professionalisation" or apprenticeship contract.
Obtain a dual degree Unfold all Fold all
The end of your course is also an opportunity to become a "dual graduate", by graduating from both IPAG Business School and one of our partner establishments. You can, for example, specialise in international finance by going to London for a semester at the University of Greenwich campus (dual degree in Finance & Investment) or develop two areas of expertise by choosing to study Business Management in New York (City University of New York), International Marketing or International Marketing with Tourism & Events in Edinburgh (Napier University).

A finance thread is also established and carried out in collaboration with students from other specializations—Audit and Corporate Finance, as well as Wealth Management. This cross-disciplinary work promotes synergies between areas of expertise and allows complex financial issues to be addressed in an interdisciplinary manner, closely reflecting real-world professional situations.

The writing and defence of a dissertation is compulsory for all fifth-year students. Putting this achievement on your CV will demonstrate that you are able to carry out in-depth research on a specific financial subject while adopting a scientific approach.
