What is Parcoursup?

Parcoursup is the official platform of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, set up in 2018 to replace the old APB system. It allows secondary school pupils, holders of the baccalaureate and transfer students to make up to 10 wishes for higher education courses (universities, preparatory classes, post-baccalaureate schools, BTS, Bachelors, etc.), with the possibility of multiple sub-wishes (up to 20 in total), without ranking them in order of preference.
The main phase and the complementary phase

The main phase generally takes place between January and July, during which applicants can :

  • make their wishes and sub-wishes ;
  • follow the progress of the institutions' replies (yes, yes if, waiting, no);
  • accept a single positive offer.

In 2025, the complementary phase will run from 11 June to 9 September, allowing applicants who have not received an offer or who wish to change their offer to make up to 10 new applications for courses that are still available, including IPAG Bachelors such as the Bachelor in Luxury Management.

Formulating your wishes at IPAG

To enrol at IPAG Business School for a Bachelor's degree (Bac+3), all you have to do is select the corresponding wish on Parcoursup:

  • 1 wish ‘IPAG Business School’ ;
  • up to 3 sub-selections in the corresponding specialisations (e.g. Marketing & Digital Communication, Luxury Management, International Business).
  • For the Grande Ecole Programme (Bac+5), admission is via the SESAME competitive entrance exam; the main choice is ‘Concours SESAME’, with sub-choices corresponding to the different campuses and courses.
     

Tip: formulate your application carefully

IPAG recommends that you :

  • personalise each motivated training project ;
  • highlight the skills you have acquired (work placements, projects, academic results for the 3ᵉ term, etc.);
  • reread carefully before submitting, particularly during the complementary phase.


Deadlines to be aware of Main phase: wishes sent from mid-January to mid-March, responses until June.

Complementary phase: from 11 June to 9 September 2025, open to applicants who have not been offered a place or who wish to change their choice.
