Introduction

IPAG allows you to start your three or five year course with a two-year preparatory programme on its Abidjan campus, during which you will acquire the fundamentals of management and administration and carry out two internships in companies of 9 weeks each.

At the end of these two years, you will continue your studies in France, in Great Britain and in Abidjan, in one of IPAG's degree programmes, depending on your professional aspirations and your choice of campus. Our programmes are internationally recognised and make you fully operational on the job market.

Bachelor in Management General

2 first years in Abidjan

1st year in Abidjan
The beginning of the course is devoted to acquiring a basic knowledge of marketing and communication, finance, economics and accounting. You also take language classes, participate in two business games and complete a sales internship between the two semesters.

2nd years in AbidjanThe second year on the Abidjan campus is an opportunity to deepen some of the lessons from the first year and to discover other subjects such as international trade, financial analysis, human resources and digital marketing. You raise your level of English by attending two courses taught in English, and by preparing for the international TOEFL test, you participate again in a business game and at the end of the first semester, you do a 9-week management internship.

After two years of preparation in Abidjan, you can continue your studies by joining a French or English-speaking bachelor's degree programme (Bac+3), an English-speaking BBA programme (Bac+3) or the IPAG Grande École programme (Bac+5) if you wish to obtain a Master's degree.

3rd Year (French-speaking or English-speaking)

3rd year in French-speaking Bachelor
To obtain a degree at Bac+3 level, you can directly join the 3rd year of one of our six specialised French-speaking Bachelors, in Paris or Nice. During the first semester, you will follow common core courses and so-called "specialisation" courses, and during the second semester, you will do a 4 to 6 months internship in a company. If you wish to stay in Abidjan, two professional Bachelors are offered on this campus: Finance and Accounting; Entrepreneurship and Family Business.

3rd year in English-taught Bachelor (BBA), standard curriculumMore general than a specialised Bachelor's degree, but also more international, the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) is a three-year degree course aimed at students wishing to acquire cross-disciplinary skills in business management in a multicultural context. By joining this programme in the 3rd year, you will follow all your courses in English. Depending on your plans, you can obtain a double degree (Nottingham or South Wales pathway), and why not do a 4 to 6 months internship (Classic pathway, South Wales pathway).

3rd year in English-taught Bachelor (BBA), Nottingham pathAnother option: you can study in BBA for a full year on the Nottingham Business School campus. EQUIS and AACSB accredited, this business school is one of the most renowned in the UK.

3rd year in English-taught Bachelor (BBA), South Wales pathOn the Nice campus, you also have the possibility of obtaining a dual degree while staying in France! This programme is offered in partnership with the University of South Wales - the 6th largest university in the United Kingdom - whose professors come to IPAG to deliver their courses.

3rd year of the PGEIf you wish to obtain a Master's degree, you have the possibility of joining IPAG's Grande Ecole programme in the 3rd year. You will then take a semester of courses before doing an internship in a company, going on a humanitarian mission or a study trip. At the end of this 3rd year, you will enter the PGE Master's programme and specialise in the field of your choice: Marketing, Finance, Logistics, International Management, Human Resources or Entrepreneurship.

4th & 5th years: in the grande école programmeYour Bachelor's or BBA degree, also allows you to join IPAG's Grande École Programme at the beginning of the Master's cycle, by taking the Ambitions+ competitive exam. You will then progressively specialise, carry out a 4 to 6 month internship in a company each year, or a one or two year work-study programme, and have the possibility of obtaining a double international degree from one of IPAG's partner universities.

What is the Bachelor in General Management?

The Bachelor in General Management is a three-year course that allows students to complete a bachelor's degree and obtain a "Grande École" diploma.

During the Bachelor cycle, in the first two years in the training center of Abidjan, you will be led to learn and put into practice your technical skills acquired in different sectors of business management.

The first year is focused on learning the fundamentals of management and corporate strategy. The second year is devoted to the deepening and development of business management techniques, commercial strategy, operational management, international trade, etc.

During the third year, the Bachelor in General Management at IPAG offers you the opportunity to access different courses in the fields of business and management depending on the course you have chosen (French or English speaking):

How to apply to our Bachelor in General Management programme?

Our Bachelor in Management program is part of our post-baccalaureate education offerings. Once your application has been sent, the selection and admission process consist of three steps:

  • Evaluation of the application file (including your CV, cover letter, transcripts of your baccalaureate or preliminary tests);
  • Written test of logic, English and general culture;
  • Motivational interview.

    A 25% discount on annual tuition fees is granted to students who have a sibling enrolled at IPAG in the BGM or any other programme.

    A 10% discount on tuition fees is given to all children of our graduates, regardless of the programme.

    Bourse excellence

    A reduction applies for students who have obtained the mention Très Bien at the baccalaureate, a 50% reduction is then applied on the tuition fees (only valid for the 1st year at IPAG).
