Presentation

IPAG allows you to start your three or five year course with a two-year preparatory programme on its Abidjan campus, during which you will acquire the fundamentals of management and administration and carry out two internships in companies of 9 weeks each.

At the end of these two years, you will continue your studies in France, in Great Britain and in Abidjan, in one of IPAG's degree programmes, depending on your professional aspirations and your choice of campus. Our programmes are internationally recognised and make you fully operational on the job market.

What is the Bachelor in General Management?

The Bachelor in General Management is a three-year course that allows students to complete a bachelor's degree and obtain a "Grande École" diploma.

During the Bachelor cycle, in the first two years in the training center of Abidjan, you will be led to learn and put into practice your technical skills acquired in different sectors of business management.

The first year is focused on learning the fundamentals of management and corporate strategy. The second year is devoted to the deepening and development of business management techniques, commercial strategy, operational management, international trade, etc.

During the third year, the Bachelor in General Management at IPAG offers you the opportunity to access different courses in the fields of business and management depending on the course you have chosen (French or English speaking):

This Management and Administration program prepares students throughout their studies to become qualified managers in human resources management, enabling them to implement operational and strategic strategies and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the company.

How to apply to our Bachelor in General Management programme?

Our Bachelor in Management program is part of our post-baccalaureate education offerings. Once your application has been sent, the selection and admission process consist of three steps:

  • Evaluation of the application file (including your CV, cover letter, transcripts of your baccalaureate or preliminary tests);
  • Written test of logic, English and general culture;
  • Motivational interview.

But why should I choose a Bachelor's degree in General Management at IPAG?

The core curriculum with the IPAG preparatory programme, which for 2 years will enable you to find out more about where you want to go and what you want to specialise in, with 9 weeks of work experience per year during the preparatory programme. In 3rd year, you will have the option of continuing on to a specialised course, a BBA, a programme in English, or even the Grande Ecole Programme in 3rd year, not forgetting that you can also continue your studies at Master's level. This means that you can start a course in Abidjan for at least two years before you leave for Europe, guaranteeing that you will be close to your family and friends.

As a result, Bachelors graduates’ benefit from excellent professional integration.

Valued by international students because of its international dimension, the Bachelor's degree enables its graduates to embark on international careers thanks to the teaching provided by IPAG in international management, but also thanks to its third year which takes place on different campuses (depending on the choice among the different specialisations): in France or the United Kingdom, in Nice, in Paris, Nottingham, or in Bournemouth.

So what to do after a Bachelor's Degree in Management?

Pursuing Master's studies

A 3-year degree such as the Bachelor's degree, known for the quality of its program, gives you the opportunity to continue your studies at the Master's level in different schools: whether at university, management school or business school.

IPAG Business School has a wide choice of courses at Bac+5 level: from the MBA, double degree in management and engineering, MSc, to our flagship program, the "Grande École" programme.

After completing your 3-year course, you can complete your training for an additional 2 years in our Grande École programme by competing in the Ambitions+ contest.

From the fourth year onwards, 6 specialisations are offered to you during the Master cycle. It is by combining them and completing them with common core courses that you can personalise your curriculum and gradually specialise until you choose your profession.

Career opportunities after your Master's degree

At IPAG, most graduates get their first job in less than 6 months and more than half are recruited before the end of their graduation internship. This professional insertion is the result of a daily dialogue with more than 800 partner businesses and personalised career guidance for students.

1st Year

At the start of the course, you will acquire a basic knowledge of marketing and communication, finance, sales, economics and accounting. You will also take various language courses, take part in two business games and gain initial work experience through a sales internship between the two semesters.

Case study

Business Challenge

From the first year of the Bachelor, you start working in groups, under the watchful eye of your professors, during a Business Game organised to respond to a problematic of an IPAG partner company.

Workshops

Various workshops are offered to help you land your first internship: CV design, writing a cover letter or verbal and non-verbal communication during a job interview.

2nd year

The second year on the Abidjan campus is an opportunity to deepen some of what was taught in the 1st year and to other subjects such as digital marketing, financial analysis financial analysis, international business and human resources. In particular, you can improve your
level of English by preparing for TOEFL certification, you will take part in a business game and complete a management internship between the two semesters

Case Study

Business Challenge

The challenge consists of solving a real business case and putting into practice the skills and knowledge acquired at the beginning of the course. After several days of consultation and collective emulation, you present your recommendations as a team to a jury of professionals.

In several workshops led by professional coaches, you will learn how to build a professional network, to develop it in a relevant way and to seize the opportunities it may offer you.

3rd year

In French-taught Bachelor programme

During the first semester, you will take core courses and so-called 'specialisation' courses, then in the second semester you second semester, you complete a 4 to 6 month work placement in a company. If you wish to stay in Abidjan, two Professional Bachelors are offered on this campus: Finance and Accounting; Entrepreneurship and Family Business.

    Grande École programmeFinally, if you wish to obtain a Bac+5, Master's degree, you have the option of joining IPAG's PGE in 3rd year. You will then take a semester of courses before a work placement, a humanitarian mission or a study trip. At the end of this 3rd year, you will enter the PGE Master's programme, specialising in the field of your choice: Marketing, Finance, Logistics, International Human Resources or Entrepreneurship.

    A 10% discount on tuition fees is given to all children of our graduates, regardless of the programme.

    Bourse excellence

    A reduction applies for students who have obtained the mention Très Bien at the baccalaureate, a 50% reduction is then applied on the tuition fees (only valid for the 1st year at IPAG).
