IPAG to host the 5th PFMC international symposium
IPAG Business School will host the 5th edition of its now famous international symposium : the Paris Financial Management Conference (PFMC). The event will take place from 18 to 21 December on the school’s Paris campus.
The PFMC is now widely acclaimed as one of the most important international finance conference. This edition is a great opportunity for the scientific community to share opinions with large companies, financial organisations and government institutions participating in the event.
The symposium is organised by 4 of IPAG’s researchers and 1 scientist from the South Champagne School of Management, alongside with IPAG’s research chair « Finance Quantitative » which is in charge of hosting a roundtable session : « Fintech and the Future of Financial Services ».
In addition to Keynote Speakers Rossen Valkanov (University of California San Diego) and Alex Edmans (London Business School), IPAG expects over 230 guests from 36 different countries including many prestigious experts such as Khaled Hussainey (researcher at the University of Portsmouth), Jean-François Boulier (former CEO of Aviva Inverstors France) and Nir Vulkan (University of Oxford).
This year, the scientific commitee received over 706 high-quality papers from over 60 countries. The best papers will be carefully selected at the end of the symposium and published in CNRS journals Finance Research Letters, Emerging Markets Review, International Review of Financial Analysis and Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money.
