Our students from the Master's degree Supply Chain Management & Circular Economy in a study trip in Rotterdam

13 May 2019

From 18 to 20 April, IPAG Business School students from the Master’s degree Supply Chain Management & Circular Economy went to Rotterdam, a city leader in the circular economy.

With a very long-term project for 2030, based on the zero waste objectives, Rotterdam is positioning itself as an European and global model, thanks to its system of waste reduction and harmful emissions in production of raw materials and finished products.

This study trip includes: discovery of the urban logistics of Rotterdam, exchanges on the sharing economy and industrial economy policies of the city, visit of the port of Rotterdam, the first European port to have registered the circular economy and the industrial ecology concept at the heart of its strategic plan by generating new activities in industrial loops, providing local jobs that can’t be relocated.
