Why take a Masters in Wealth Management?

This fifth-year specialism will enable you to gain all the knowledge you need to enter various professions related to the management, creation or transfer of wealth. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to evaluate the financial situation of a private individual, recommend a global strategy for property or finance investment and management, provide information about changes in fiscal policy, warn of the risks presented by specific financial products and coordinate the work of various specialists (notaries, lawyers, chartered accountants, insurers, etc.).

What classes are included in Wealth Management?

You will follow classes that are common to all specialisms in the Grande École Programme as well as "specialist modules". Based on a global approach to wealth management, the latter will enable you to learn how to manage financial asset portfolios, establish a financial diagnosis, carry out property investment projects or become an expert in taxation and property law. You will also become familiar with the workings and governance of the insurance sector and banking institutions, in France and internationally.

Advantages of the Masters in Wealth Management at IPAG

Complete your course by combining work and study

A six-month final internship is compulsory for all students in the Grande École Programme, but if you would like to gain more work experience, you can choose to complete the fifth year on a work-study basis, by signing either a "professionalisation" or apprenticeship contract. In this case, you will spend two days a week at IPAG and three days a week at your host employer, such as a consultancy firm, a bank, or a personal finance or wealth manager.

Obtain a double degree

The final year of the Grande École Programme also gives you the opportunity to develop two areas of expertise by choosing one of the five double degrees on offer: International Marketing in Moscow (Plekhanov Russian University of Economics), International Marketing or International Marketing with Tourism & Events in Edinburgh (Napier University), Finance & Investment in London (University of Greenwich) or Business Management in New York (City University of New York).

Put your knowledge into practice with business games

Held each year during the Grande École Programme, our business games are an opportunity to put your knowledge into practice while having fun by solving a problem presented by a company. Your knowledge in the areas of law, taxation and finance will be major assets for your team, formed of students from various specialisms.

Develop in-depth expertise through a dissertation

The defence of a final dissertation is compulsory for all students in the fifth year of the Grande École Programme. This exercise will enable you to develop expertise in a subject area related to your future career. Along with your dissertation supervisor, you will choose the subject of your work, whether it's sustainable financial investments, responsible fiscal optimisation, sponsorship and tax reduction, or new ways to make the most out of savings.
