How and when does expatriation take place in IPAG's programmes?

Grande École Programme:

Expatriation takes place in year 3 for all students in the programme. Students who joined the programme in year 1 spend their 3rd year of study entirely abroad. This year includes a semester of study in addition to a semester doing an internship or a voluntary assignment. Students who joined the programme directly in year 3 spend their 1st semester in France at one of IPAG’s campuses. They then spend their 2nd semester abroad. All students in the Grande Ecole Programme can choose to study at one of IPAG’s 130 partner universities located in 35 countries. You may find the complete list of partner universities on the dedicated page: “Our partner universities” TOEFL is required and helps students get prepared for expatriation in their 2nd year of study. Students then submit 5 applications (one for each partner university in which they wish to study for a semester). Applications are then approved or not by IPAG’s pedagogical teams.

Bachelors:

Bachelor students can spend a semester abroad during their 3rd year of study, depending on their campus and major. Specifically, the Bachelor in International Trade lets students spend one semester abroad in their 1st year of study and another semester abroad in their 3rd year.

  • Bachelor in Marketing & Digital Communication - Paris campus: One semester abroad in year 3, on one of IPAG’s associate campuses in Kunming (China) or Riverside (USA).
