The Department of Economics, Finance and Control, chaired by Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg von Mettenheim, has permanent faculty members with a very high degree of implication and commitment in teaching, scientific research and scientific project management. The department also hosts a significant number of affiliate researchers as well as visiting scholars and professionals coming from all over the World. The quality of our faculty relies particularly on its internationalization, diversity of expertise, and a strong network of academic and industrial partners. This also allows IPAG students to develop knowledge, tools, and cognitive skills in order to be cross-functional managers.

The department is actively involved in collaborations within the school and contributes towards the IPAG chairs. Also, the department regularly organises international conferences like the International Symposium on Energy and Finance Issues (ISEFI), the International Conference on Forecasting Financial Markets (FFM) and the Paris Financial Management Conference (PFCM).
