Our 3-year BBA programme in Nice and Nottingham To find out more

A product of the North American academic system, the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a bachelor's degree program accessible after the baccalaureate. Would you like to embark on an international career after three years of study? Find out what the BBA has to offer!

BBA: Purpose and principles of the Bachelor of Business Administration

What is a BBA?

The BBA is a bachelor's degree, a three-year course intended for bachelors and students who are looking for an international dimension to their professional project. Dispensed by internationally renowned Grandes Ecoles, the hallmarks of the BBA are innovation, professionalisation and internationality.

The BBA is also a vocational diploma: the majority of the schools offering this program include a professional experience to be approved in order to obtain the diploma. This aspect of the program is crucial and justifies its excellent rate of insertion in the professional world.

Lastly, due to its North American origins, the BBA curriculum is based on fun and participatory teaching.

What's the difference between Bachelor and a BBA?

Although these two bachelor's degrees are mainly held at universities of applied sciences and the BBA curriculum is similar to a conventional bachelor's degree, the special feature is the emphasis on internationalisation.

Although the BBA is taught by schools with a large network of partner universities, some BBA students are even led, according to their preferences, to spend a semester or a year in an international institution in order to acquire a unique, cultural and rich experience (professional or academic).

The BBA is mainly taught entirely in English and is therefore addressed to an English-speaking public or those with an excellent command of English.

Finally, the admission procedure for a BBA will not be the same as for a Bachelor's degree: a minimum language proficiency level and an international professional project are recommended. Admissions for this programme are challenging and it is this selectiveness that is also recognised by recruiters.

So why should I choose to do a Bachelor in Business Administration at IPAG?

At the IPAG Business School, we provide among our various management courses, a BBA over a three-year period on our campuses in Nice.

Entirely taught in English, it will firstly allow you to improve your skills in this language. But not exclusively! In fact, with more than 30 different nationalities each year, you will have the opportunity to progress in foreign languages as well!

Moreover, the courses taken in this program are tailored to international profiles thanks to the specialisations taught: international marketing, international management, business development, international trade, business management, etc.

What do I do after a BBA?

After a BBA, there are several opportunities for you: both for further studies and for direct entry into the professional world.

You can opt to continue studying for a Master's degree, in particular by joining the  Grande École Program of the IPAG which will allow you to specialise and train for a specific job in two years and to obtain a recognised diploma with five years of higher education (Bac+5 Master's degree).

Do you want to pursue more internationally oriented studies? Why not choose a Master of Business Administration (MBA)? Renowned for its international dimension, this diploma will allow you to improve your skills in a field while refining your professional project for an international career.

As for those who would like to quickly become part of the workforce, you should know that the BBA has an excellent rate of professional insertion! The professional opportunities offered by this program are numerous: international manager, international project manager, international consultant, export manager... as many opportunities as possible to fulfill your dreams.
