Introduction

The Bachelor in General Management (BGM) is a 3-year degree. It offers the opportunity to study on IPAG’s Abidjan training centre for the first two years, during which you learn the fundamentals of management.

You will spend your third year either in France, within our French-taught Bachelor programme, or in Great Britain, through our anglophone BBA programme. Wherever you will specialise, you will be fully operational at the end of the curriculum.

Bachelor in Management General

2 first year in Abidjan

  • Full time

1st year in Abidjan
You start your curriculum in our Abidjan Training Centre where learn the fundamentals of marketing, communication, law and economics, general accounting and sales.

2nd years in Abidjan
During the 2nd year, you develop your management skills. You deepen certain lessons from the 1st year and discover other disciplines such as microeconomics and financial analysis.

3rd Year (French-speaking or English-speaking)

3rd year in French-speaking Bachelor
After two years spent in Abidjan, you can progress to one of the 4 specialisations of our French taught Bachelor programme on our Nice or Paris campuses: Marketing & Digital Communication, Luxury Management, International Trade, Accounting & Human resource management.

3rd year in English-taught Bachelor (BBA), standard curriculum
You can also join our Bachelor in Business Administration, taught 100% in English. On our Paris or Nice campus, you are building a managerial profile tailored for international business.

3rd year in English-taught Bachelor (BBA), Nottingham path
Another option: you can study in BBA for a full year on the Nottingham Business School campus. EQUIS and AACSB accredited, this business school is one of the most renowned in the UK.

3rd year in English-taught Bachelor (BBA), South Wales path
On the Nice campus, you also have the possibility of obtaining a dual degree while staying in France! This programme is offered in partnership with the University of South Wales - the 6th largest university in the United Kingdom - whose professors come to IPAG to deliver their courses.

What is the Bachelor in General Management?

The Bachelor in General Management is a three-year course that allows students to complete a bachelor's degree and obtain a "Grande Ecole" diploma.

During the Bachelor cycle, in the first two years in the training center of Abidjan, you will be led to learn and put into practice your technical skills acquired in different sectors of business management.

The first year is focused on learning the fundamentals of management and corporate strategy. The second year is devoted to the deepening and development of business management techniques, commercial strategy, operational management, international trade, etc.

During the third year, the Bachelor in General Management at IPAG offers you the opportunity to access different courses in the fields of business and management depending on the course you have chosen (French or English speaking):

This Management and Administration program prepares students throughout their studies to become qualified managers in human resources management, enabling them to implement operational and strategic strategies and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the company.

 

How to apply to our Bachelor in General Management programme?

Our Bachelor in Management program is part of our post-baccalaureate education offerings. Once your application has been sent, the selection and admission process consist of three steps:

  • evaluation of the application file (including your CV, cover letter, transcripts of your baccalaureate or preliminary tests);
  • written test of logic, English and general culture;
  • Motivational interview.

Pursuing Master's studies

A 3-year degree such as the Bachelor's degree, known for the quality of its program, gives you the opportunity to continue your studies at the Master's level in different schools: whether at university, management school or business school.

IPAG Business School has a wide choice of courses at Bac+5 level: from the MBA, double degree in management and engineering, MSc, to our flagship program, the "Grande Ecole" programme.

After completing your 3-year course, you can complete your training for an additional 2 years in our Grande École programme by competing in the Ambitions+ contest.

From the fourth year onwards, 8 specialties are offered to you during the Master cycle. It is by combining them and completing them with common core courses that you can personalise your curriculum and gradually specialise until you choose your profession.
